Do you like to enjoy a cozy atmosphere, but also prioritize your sanitary comfort? Then don’t look further as the Hovenstraat 25 is your match. This brand-new building can accommodate 9 students and lies within walking distance of the bustling center of Hasselt and the various educational institutions. And psssst, don’t be intimidated by the (old) prison that is located right next to this building. This jail has undergone a reclassification and now houses the Law Faculty of UHasselt.

Only rooms of the type ‘Superior’ are offered in this building. This means that all the rooms are equipped with a private bathroom consisting of a shower, single sink, and toilet except for 2 rooms that must share a toilet but have their own shower and sink. Furthermore, students can cook together in a large common kitchen equipped with high-quality appliances. An additional asset is the small city garden which invites you to relax together and share some fun moments.

The rooms have a surface between 15 and 20 m2. Depending on the location of the room in the building and the facilities, the rental price varies between 550 EUR and 590 EUR, all charges included. So, expenses related to Wi-Fi, water, and electricity consumption, etc. are all included. Additionally, all rooms can be heated and cooled via the floor heating.

All rooms are equipped with a bed, desk and closet including a built-in fridge and niche for a microwave oven.

Rooms available for academic year 2024 – 2025.

Small sidenote: please note that this property is still under construction. The completion is scheduled for the end of Q2 2024.
